COVID-19 vaccine distribution plan update from the Washington State Department of Health

Throughout the month of October, the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) community engagement team connected with communities, workers, and business sectors disproportionately impacted by COVID-19. DOH conducted more than 90 interviews and focus groups with 402 people, and received 18,000 survey responses in multiple languages.

On November 2, DOH opened enrollment to providers for the COVID-19 Vaccination Program. This is a phased approach to enrollment, focusing first on hospitals and health care systems.

The next update to the Interim COVID-19 vaccination plan will include changes informed by the Center for Disease Control's new playbook along with other sources of feedback. The revised version of the plan will be posted on DOH's COVID-19 Vaccine page once complete.
