Planned network outage will affect Kitsap Public Health services on July 31 and Aug. 1
The Kitsap Public Health District will undergo a planned and necessary network outage and system upgrade from4:30 p.m. on Friday, July 31, until approximately noon on Saturday, Aug. 1.
The following services will be affected:
Phone service
During the network outage, incoming calls to the Health District will be rerouted to an answering service. The Health District will still receive faxes. Phone services will return to normal once the system upgrade is completed.
COVID-19 data reporting
During the outage, Health District staff will not have access to internal and external data systems. This will interrupt some aspects of the district's COVID-19 response work.
Due to the outage, the Health District will not post its regular COVID-19 data dashboard update on Saturday. The Health District will resume regular COVID-19 data updates on Sunday, Aug. 2.
Website
The Health District’s website — kitsappublichealth.org — could be down periodically during the outage, but should be fully operational by Saturday afternoon.
