Kitsap Public Health District front counter will remain closed until further notice
To promote social distancing and protect our staff and community during the COVID-19 pandemic, Kitsap Public Health District's front counter will remain closed until further notice.
We will continue to respond to COVID-19 and provide other essential services to our community during this time.
Many of our services are available online. Please note that we have temporarily suspended some services to comply with the governor's emergency proclamations. Processing times for other services may be slower than normal.
For more information, go to our website or call 360-728-2235.
What is Kitsap Public Health doing?
Kitsap Public Health has been working on coronavirus preparedness and response since January. We now have more than 50 employees dedicated to the COVID-19 response effort.
Our COVID-19 activities include:
Investigating confirmed cases and notifying close contacts who may have been exposed.
Providing information and guidance to local health care providers, government agencies, community organizations, and businesses.
Sharing COVID-19 updates and prevention information with the public.
Coordinating response activities with the Kitsap County Emergency Operations Center and partner agencies.
Most of our employees still report to our offices in Bremerton. We have implemented Department of Health workplace guidance, including social distancing measures, to reduce the risk of staff getting sick.
