Winners will be celebrated during the Kitsap County Board of County Commissioners regular meeting on April 27, 2020.

Since 1993, 177 local individuals, businesses, and groups have received an Earth Day Award from Kitsap County Public Works.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, which falls on April 22. The first Earth Day in 1970 is credited with launching the modern environmental movement and led to landmark environmental laws including the Clean Air, Clean Water, and Endangered Species Acts.
