Shore Friendly Kitsap is your resource for shoreline restoration! We work with shoreline homeowners to accomplish their shoreline restoration projects and improve and protect beach habitat.
Mike Schiller, a homeowner in Oyster Bay, Bremerton, participated in the Shore Friendly Kitsap program. With assistance and financial incentives from the program, Mike completed a bulkhead removal project on his shoreline property. He removed a decaying timber bulkhead and created a beautiful, naturalized beach.
