HARPER PARK WORK PARTY

Sunday, October 27th 2019
10 A.M. - 12 P.M.
3500 SE Southworth Dr., Port Orchard

Harper Park

Come enjoy the spectacular sights and sounds of Harper Park’s gorgeous 59-acres; salt marshes, an estuary, forested trails and amazing views of Puget Sound. Harper park is an important part of our Puget Sound ecosystem with dynamic habitat for many species in the area.

A new stewardship group is forming for Harper Park and we would greatly appreciate some volunteer assistance October 27th from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. The park is located at 3500 SE Southworth Drive in Port Orchard.

We will be continuing the removal of non-native vegetative invasive species along with widening sections of the trails to make them more accessible for park users. Come learn about the history of the park and connect with others to build community around a shared project. Tools and instruction are provided, bringing your own gloves is encouraged.
