The Road Report for August 18-25, 2017

South Kitsap

Construction on Glenwood (b/w JH and Wildwood) continues this week. Expect significant delays of 10 minutes of more. Use alternate routes when possible.  

Crews are fog sealing on these roads in SK this week. Expect short delays of up to 5 minutes in the vicinity of the work.

Central Kitsap

Kitsap County Fair & Stampeded Road Closures - Kitsap County's Fair and Stampede brings several road closures and restrictions to the Fairgrounds area beginning Monday. Click here for a complete list of road closures and restrictions during the fair.

NW Stavis Bay will be paved Monday. Expect short delays of up to 5 minutes in the vicinity of the work.

Crews are installing and repair draining on Provost Road and Anderson Hill Road. Expect short delays of up to 5 minutes in the vicinity of the work.

Old Holly Hill Road NW is closed at the Seabeck Holly Road NW intersection for bridge construction. A detour is in place and alternate routes are advised. Work continues on this project through December. Seabeck Holly Road is restricted to one lane southwest of Old Holly Hill. Read about this project here.

Work continues on a project to improve Silverdale Way near Old Town Silverdale. There will be minimal impact during mobilization with short delays of about 5 minutes in the vicinity of the work. More information about this project is available here.

A portion of Panther Lake Road W is closed, for a culvert replacement project . It is expected that work will continue through August. Click here to read more.

Sunset Avenue is closed or restricted to one-way flagged traffic Monday through Thursday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for sewer upgrade construction. Work continues through August 25.

North Kitsap

Crews are chip sealing roads in NK Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Expect delays of up to 10 minutes at these locations:

360th Street (from Hansville Road to the end)
Ohman Road (from Hansville Road to the end)
Orseth Road (from Port Gamble to the end of maintenance)
Rova Road (Bond Road to Gunderson and Stottlemeyer to the end of maintenance)

NE West Kingston Road remains closed due to bridge construction.

A 10,000 pound weight restriction remains in effect on Washington Boulevard NE.
