Household hazardous waste collection set for September 24

(Port Orchard, WA) - Residents in the north end of Kitsap County can bring their hazardous household chemicals to a one-day collection event being held at Kitsap Transit’s “George’s Corner” Park and Ride at 27618 Hansville Road NE on Saturday, September 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Click here for more information.

Please note that latex paint will NOT be accepted at this event, nor will items that already have local recycling options, like used motor oil, fluorescent lamps, and batteries. This event is for Kitsap County residents only, and limited to household waste (no business or other non-household waste accepted).

This one-day event supplements the permanent, year-round Household Hazardous Waste Facility in Bremerton. Click here for Information about the Facility (hours, restrictions, items accepted).
