(Bremerton, WA) Site improvements and construction activities at the
Olympic View Transfer Station (OVTS) will cause delays and traffic revisions
beginning May 16. Kitsap County is paving the existing gravel area used by
commercial businesses and haulers and installing necessary improvements to the
stormwater collection and management system. The project continues through June,
weather permitting.
Customers with tarped loads will have a limited area
to un-tarp and clean out vehicles or trailers so plan accordingly. Watch for and
obey all signs and directions and do not block any intersections. There will be
heavy cross traffic of trucks during this project and customers are being asked
to follow directions, use caution, be safe, and be courteous.
