Case/Incident #13-60847 Six injured in two-vehicle collision on Juanita Drive KIRKLAND, Wash. – Just after 6 p.m. on December 14, 2013, Kirkland Police and Fire responded to the 13800 block of Juanita Drive on a report of an injury vehicle collision. A vehicle traveling southbound on Juanita Drive crossed the centerline and collided with a northbound vehicle occupied by five females. The female driver of the southbound vehicle was ejected from her vehicle and transported to Harborview Hospital with a possible brain injury but is expected to survive. The five females in the northbound vehicle were all part of a bridal party and were taken to Evergreen Hospital with possible broken bones and non-life threatening injuries. The collision is being investigated as possibly DUI related. The Kirkland Police Department’s Traffic Unit responded to the scene and will be conducting the investigation.
