Free Interactive Poetry Workshop And Tea Party With Theater Simple Recommended for children 4-10 and their families _____________________________
Since the group's inception in late 2007, the Portland Cello Project (or, PCP, as their fans affectionately call them), has wowed audiences all over the country with extravagant performances, everywhere from Prairie Home Companion, to that punk rock club in the part of town your grandma warns you not to go to after dark. The group has built a reputation mixing genres and blurring musical lines and perceptions wherever they go. From Rach to Rock - and everything in between - it's all here. _____________________________
Owl & Pussycat An award-winning, internationally acclaimed company, theater simple was founded in 1990 by two actors who aimed to strip the theatrical experience down to its elemental parts: the imagination of the actor and audience, the playwright's words and the director's vision. theater simple premieres its latest literary exploration, OWL & PUSSYCAT, made for all ages. This ricochet off the famous Edward Lear poem debuted at the REINVIGORATED SEATTLE FRINGE FESTIVAL earlier this fall. Utilizing Shakespearean couplets, songs, four actors, and a pea green boat, Owl & Pussycat's escapades illuminate a love of adventure and some adventures of love. Fur, feathers and puns will fly. (Pigs will not.) _____________________________
