South America's immense wildlands contain the most important reservoir of biodiversity left on Earth, operating as the heart and lungs of the planet. Yet, there has not been sufficient high-quality research into this area’s amazing biodiversity and how best to protect it. At the July Eastside Science Café, join Peter Morrison from the Pacific Biodiversity Institute as he explores how his organization spearheads and supports research and conservation efforts in these fascinating ecosystems.
