The roster will be effective for a period of three years and serve as one of the means of selecting artists to create permanent, site-specific artwork for the agency’s expanding transit system. Art projects will vary in size and complexity, with budgets of approximately $30,000 to $600,000. Artists must submit an online application with 4Culture by April 1. In order to extend this opportunity to as many ELE service area artists as possible, STart and 4Culture will be co-hosting workshops with the Cities of Redmond, Mercer Island, and Bellevue. All artists in the ELE region are encouraged to attend in one of these locations. The workshops will provide detailed information about the roster, upcoming projects, and the application process. More information here.
