Passionate about making a difference?
One powerful way to contribute is to serve as a mentor. It's an opportunity to deepen your coaching and listening skills--and grow in a whole host of other ways--while contributing to the success of a colleague and King County.
It's a small amount of time and effort with the potential for a large impact. We ask for just a couple hours for orientation followed by an hour a month for six months. You don't need to spend a lot of time on preparation: the mentee plans and drives all the sessions.
What skill or knowledge area are you passionate about? Fill out a mentor application today and start sharing your passion while helping someone else learn and grow. We think you'll learn something in the process and be happy you did. Questions? Email Mentoring@KingCounty.gov.
Thank you for helping us build a vibrant learning culture here at King County!
