Mourning the loss of Harry Hoffman

“Harry’s tireless work expanded affordable housing options across King County and the rest of the state, and helped untold numbers of families at a time when they needed it most. He led important legislative victories in Olympia, and played a key role in helping pass the 2009 Seattle Housing Levy. His commitment to the most vulnerable among us was inspiring, and it is up to us to ensure that the opportunities he created live on.”

King County and the Committee to End Homelessness mourn the loss of Harry Hoffman, former executive director of the Housing Development Consortium. Mr. Hoffman served as a part of the Committee to End Homelessness’ Interagency Council and his many contributions to the efforts to create housing for individuals and families in need will long be remembered.

“Harry was an integral part of the Committee to End Homelessness. His friends from the Interagency Council and I are so sad to hear of his passing, and we send our condolences to his family," said CEH Director Mark Putnam.  "We’ll miss you Harry.”
