Weekend Service Impacts

• RapidRide C Line will have stop #20270 SW Wildwood Place & 46th Avenue SW (eastbound) closed from Friday, September 25 at 9 a.m. to Monday, September 28 at 11 a.m. due to construction;
• Route 44 will have stop #29217 NW Market Street & 11th Avenue NW (eastbound) closed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 26 due to construction;
• Routes 65, 67, 72, 75, and 77 will be rerouted in the UW Campus area from 10 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 26 during the Husky Football Game;
• Route 255 and ST 542 will be rerouted in the UW Campus area from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 26 during the Husky Football Game;
• Route 111 to Renton Highlands will be rerouted off I-405 S from Saturday, September 26 to Monday, September 28 at 4 a.m. due to construction;
• Routes 225, 239 and 255 will be rerouted off NE 132nd Street between 111th Avenue NE and 120th Avenue NE from Friday, September 25 at 10 p.m. to Monday, September 28 at 4 a.m. due to construction;

Service Reminders

• Take transit to all your sporting and community events in Seattle. Metro and Link light rail serve riders heading to T-Mobile Park, Husky Stadium, Lumen Field, and Climate Pledge Arena;
  
  • The Mariners will play Friday at 7:10 p.m., Saturday at 6:40 p.m. and on Sunday at 12:10 p.m. at T-Mobile Park;
  • UW Huskies will play at 8 p.m. on Saturday at Husky Stadium;
  • Seattle Reign  have a match at 5:30 p.m. on Friday at Lumen Field;
  • Seattle Sounders will have a match at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday at Lumen Field;
• Water Taxi is operating on the summer sailing schedule as of Saturday, April 11;
• Seattle Center Monorail will operate 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 12 a.m. on Sunday. The Monorail will depart approximately every 10 minutes;
• Riders can use Text for Departures by texting their stop number to 62550 to get next departure times;
• Remember, it's free and easy to sign up for email or text alerts about King County Metro service. Alerts can be tailored to your favorite route(s).

Bus route changes, improvements for University of Washington, college campus connections

The countdown is underway to the September 30 start of classes at the University of Washington, and with it comes planning how to get to the Seattle and Bothell campuses using new and revised Metro bus and Sound Transit train connections.

Schedules and routing for King County Metro and Sound Transit buses and Sound Transit 1 and 2 line connections were updated August 29. We expect the changes will improve the connections, speed and reliability of your trip from across King County to the UW Seattle and UW Bothell campuses, as well as colleges in North and South King County.

Direct routes onto campus are available, and by using Metro’s Trip Planner you can see which option works best for your travel needs. Metro customer service also is available for trip planning and can be reached by phone at 206-553-3000 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays.
