Upcoming Road Closure: Vashon Highway SW between SW 225th Street and SW 227th Street (Judd Creek Bridge #3184)

Beginning Monday, August 17, 2026

Vashon Island

As early as 7 am on Monday, August 17, 2026, crews will close Vashon Highway SW between SW 225th Street and SW 227th Street at Judd Creek Bridge #3184 to complete the Judd Creek Bridge #3184 Resurfacing Project.

During construction, the road will be closed in both directions, 24/7, to all travelers, including emergency services and bicycles for up to six weeks. A signed detour will be in place

This work may be rescheduled or delayed due to machine, crew, or equipment availability or weather.
