Reminder: Baring Bridge - Temporary Bridge Replacement Community Meeting

Saturday March 28, 2026, at 1 pm at the Baring Fire Station

Road Services will host a community meeting on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 1 pm at the Baring Fire Department (64410 Index Creek Rd, Baring, WA 98224) to share more about installation of the temporary bridge and answer questions about this project.

We anticipate that utility relocation prior to construction of the temporary bridge will begin in early April 2026. Once the utilities are relocated, bridge installation will begin and last approximately two-and-a-half months. During that time, the current bridge will remain open at the 5-ton load limit.

Please expect occasional temporary closures of the Baring Bridge or Index Creek Road as crews work on weekdays from 7 am to 5 pm.

This project could be delayed due to equipment, material, crew availability or weather. Please check the project website or MyCommute for the latest information.
