 Safety Reminders
-
Look for signs of slides: Bulges and cracks in the ground or leaning trees. Stay away and call 9-1-1 immediately.
-
Turn Around, Don’t Drown: Never drive through flooded roads. Water can be deeper than it appears and may hide washed-out or damaged pavement.
-
Respect road and trail closure signs and barricades: They are in place to keep you safe.
-
Slow down and increase following distance: Heavy rain reduces both visibility and stopping time.
-
Our crews are ready to respond 24/7 to reports, closing unsafe areas, and clearing what they can as conditions allow.
