NE Woodinville Duval Rd east of Duvall is open to traffic four days ahead of schedule. The bridge was originally anticipated to open on Saturday, August 31st.
Expect daytime lane restrictions (flaggers will direct two-way traffic) in coming weeks for crews to add final lane striping once the pavement has cured.
The Duvall Slough Bridge (between West Snoqualmie River Road NE and W. Snoqualmie Valley Rd. NE on NE Woodinville Duvall Road) closed on July 15th while crews removed the top half-inch of worn-out concrete on the bridge deck and replaced it with new concrete.
The project also rebuilt both bridge approaches and repaired two bridge expansion joints. This closure was necessary to keep traffic moving in this vital corridor and extend the life of the bridge.
