Public Comment Period Now Open Through August 6: Proposed Speed Limit Reductions in Fairwood and Auburn / Black Diamond

This summer, King County Road Services is proposing speed limit reductions in two communities. There will be a 14-day public comment period for both proposals from July 23rd to August 6th. During this period, feedback can be shared by mail (address below) or by online form (see below for links.)

SE Lake Holm Road
Road Services is proposing a 5-mph speed limit reduction on SE Lake Holm Road between SE Lake Moneysmith Road and SE Black Diamond Road. Community members will be able to share their feedback using this form or by mail from July 23 to August 6, 2024. Only comments shared during this 14-day period can be accepted.

140th Avenue SE
Road Services is proposing a 5-mph speed limit reduction in Fairwood on 140th Ave SE between Renton city limits and SE 192nd Street. Community members will be able to share their feedback using this form or by mail from July 23 to August 6, 2024. Only comments shared during this 14-day period can be accepted.
