Fireworks, parades, picnics and festivals on July Fourth — there’s so much going on! Here’s some things to know before stepping onto transit on July 4 to get to your celebration.

This July Fourth will be hot and the weather may continue through the weekend. Puget Sound summers can see temperatures soar into the 90s (and beyond) and stay for several days. When the heat arrives, King County Metro can help connect you to community cooling centers, and Public Health – Seattle & King County has tips for protecting yourself as you travel.
