Weekend Service Impacts

• Weekend Construction Reroute for Routes 255, 271, ST 542, and ST 545; Transit service will be rerouted in both directions off the SR 520 bridge from 11 p.m. on Friday, January 6 to end of service on Sunday, January 8;

Service Reminders

• Take transit to all your sporting events in Seattle this weekend. Metro and Link Light Rail serves riders heading to T-Mobile Park, Husky Stadium, Lumen Field and Climate Pledge Arena;
  
  • The Seattle Kraken will have a match at the Climate Pledge Arena at 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 7;
    • Remember your ticket to Climate Pledge Arena is also your ticket to ride transit; 
  • The Seahawks will take Lumen Field on Sunday, January 8 at 1:25 p.m.;
    
    • Sound Transit is operating special Sounder service for the game;
• Seattle Center Monorail will operate on regular schedule this weekend. The Monorail will depart approximately every 10 minutes;
• Water Taxi continues its seven-days a week service throughout the winter, from approximately 6 a.m. weekdays (8:30 a.m. weekends) to 7 p.m.; 
  • Please be aware that during our winter sailing season, conditions such as King Tides or high winds could create conditions that impact schedules. It may be necessary to reduce speed to protect the vessel on the Vashon route;
• We recommend riders arrive at their bus stop a few minutes before the scheduled departure time of their trip;
• Riders can use Text for Departures by texting their stop number to 62550 to get next departure times;
• Remember, it's free and easy to sign up for email or text alerts about King County Metro service. Alerts can be tailored to your favorite route(s).

ORCA cards now available at eight new retail locations

ORCA card, the Puget Sound’s all-in-one transit card, is now available at eight new locations. These include select Haggen, Boost Mobile, Chevron stores and the Vashon Thriftway.

ORCA will continue to add additional retail seller locations throughout the region on an ongoing basis, eventually doubling the number of locations and adding more availability at locally owned businesses. Building on the success of getting fans to Seattle Kraken and Seattle Storm games, King County Metro and other transit agencies are partnering with Climate Pledge Arena to provide free transit to all public events at the arena.
