King County Metro connects you to the Husky game this Saturday!
The University of Washington Huskies take to the field on Saturday, October 15 at 2:30 p.m. There are many options to leave your car and traffic stresses at home; take transit to and from Husky Stadium.
Plan your trip to the game by using Trip Planner and Text for Departures (text your bus stop number to 62550). Stay informed as some King County Metro routes will be rerouted near Huskey Stadium on game day.
Shuttle Service from four King County park-and-ride lots will be available.
- Eastgate Park-and-Ride
- Houghton Park-and-Ride
- Kingsgate Park-and-Ride
- South Kirkland Park-and-Ride
A $16.00 per person round trip pass is required to board. Fans can also purchase a season pass in advance for $70.00. Purchase passes online and in advance, no later than Friday before each game. Visit the Huskies gameday transportation website for purchase and further details.
Riding Link Light Rail is another good option. The 1 Line provides direct service from South King County, the Rainier Valley, Beacon Hill, downtown Seattle, Capitol Hill, and Northgate areas to UW Link Station located just outside Husky Stadium.
The Link corridor is further served by parking capacity at Tukwila International Blvd Station, Angle Lake Station, and Northgate Station, and by connecting Metro or Sound Transit bus routes.
Fare payment is required on the 1 Line at all times. When using an ORCA card to ride, please tap shortly before boarding the train, and again upon exiting.
Metro Bus Routes 31, 32, 44, 45, 48, 49, 65, 67, 70, 73, 75, 271 and 372, and Sound Transit Express Route 542 serve the University of Washington area. For many fans, these routes are within walking distance of the stadium, even when rerouted. Metro plans to have a handful of additional trips to assist with post-game demand on routes 44, 65, 75, 271, 372 and ST Express 542.
Except where otherwise noted, a valid full payment of fare is required on all transit service. Husky game tickets are not accepted as payment of fare on any service. Check out our convenient pre-payment options, ORCA and the Transit Go Ticket app.
Transit Reroutes will be effecting some regularly scheduled Metro Transit service in the Montlake and Husky Stadium areas on game day. Except for routes 48, 271 and ST Express 542, buses that normally travel near Husky stadium are rerouted during Husky football games.
- Routes 44 and 73 will be rerouted starting at 12:30 p.m. with temporary stops near Northeast Pacific Street.
- Routes 45, 65, 67, 75, 255 and 372 will be rerouted starting at 4:30 p.m.
Husky fans riding transit are encouraged to allow plenty of time, as the streets around the University District and Husky Stadium will be congested, and buses and trains are likely to be crowded. Please visit our Service Advisory page for up-to-date information.
Remember, "It's a great day to ride Metro" to get to events and activities where there is often traffic congestion and limited parking.
