Transit Alert – Transit service will be rerouted off of the eastbound I-90 Bridge; buses will travel instead via I-5, SR 520, I-405 & I-90 on Fri PM
King County, Washington sent this bulletin at 07/14/2022 03:10 PM PDTOn Friday, July 15, from 11:00 PM until the end of service, eastbound Sound Transit Express Routes 550 and 554 will be rerouted off the eastbound I-90 Bridge due to construction.
ST routes 550 to Bellevue and 554 to Issaquah will travel instead via I-5, SR 520, I-405 and I-90. ST 550 will serve all its usual stops while on this revised routing. ST 554 will not serve the stop on southbound Rainier Av S just south of S Charles St. ST 554 riders may board or exit at the stop along the revised routing westbound on S Dearborn St just east of Corwin Pl S.
During this time, customers who normally board route ST 554 to Issaquah at this stop, can ride Route 106 northbound on Rainier Av S to the stop on S Jackson St just west of Maynard Av S in the International District. To continue to the Eastside, cross S Jackson St and transfer to ST 554 at the stop on eastbound S Jackson St just east of S Maynard St.
Customers who normally ride ST 554 to the stop on southbound Rainier Av S at S Charles St can ride Route 7 or 106 instead from the stop eastbound on S Jackson St just east of 5th Av S.
At all other times, Sound Transit Express routes 550 and 554 will operate via their regular routes and stops.
