Transit Alert Update – Additional routing information for ST 545 reroute off a portion of Olive Way in downtown Seattle 3/28-4/3

This is an update to the previous Transit Alert.

Additional routing information for ST 545 when it is scheduled via Bellevue Av.

From Monday, March 28 at start of service, through Sunday, April 3 at 11:59 PM, at all times, transit service will be affected in the downtown Seattle area by construction on Olive Way between 8th Av and Boren Av.

Metro routes 257, 268 and 311, and Sound Transit Express Route 545 heading toward their eastside destinations will be rerouted off a portion of Olive Way and will travel instead via Howell St, Minor Av, Olive Way and then on to their regular routing.

When scheduled via Bellevue Av, ST 545 will travel via Howell St and Boren Av and then on to its regular route.

While on this revised routing, Metro routes 257, 268 and 311, and ST 545 will not serve their stops on Olive Way.  Riders may board or exit at the stop eastbound on Howell St just west of 9th Av, or at the temporary stop southbound on Minor St just south of Howell St.

Heading toward downtown Seattle, these routes will not be affected.

Visit Metro’s Service Advisories page for information about revised bus service, routing and stops for planned construction or events.  When buses are rerouted, reroute start and end times may be subject to change.

Visit Metro’s online regional Puget Sound Trip Planner to plan your travel, and for bus stop, schedule and other information, including predicted times at stops.  We recommend riders to arrive at their bus stop at least 5 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
