Weekend Construction Reroute for route ST 545; transit service will be rerouted off a portion of Olive Way in downtown Seattle from Friday, March 18 at 7:00 p.m. to Sunday, March 20 end of service;

Temporary Construction Reroute for route 132; will be rerouted in both directions off of S Kenyon St. from Friday, March 18 at 6:30 a.m. to Wednesday, Jun 1 at 5:00 p.m.;

Weekend Construction Reroute for route 183; transit service for rt 183 to Federal Way will be affected by the closure of S 272nd St in the Star Lake area from Saturday, March 19 at start of service to end of service;
- Civic event delay; transit service may experience temporary minor delays in downtown Seattle on 4th Ave between City Hall and Seattle Center; starting Saturday afternoon March 19 at 2 p.m.;

Seattle Center Monorail will operate extended hours on Saturday, March 19, 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. The Monorail will depart approximately every 10 minutes;

Masks continue to be required on public transportation through April 18, per federal directive. King County Metro continues to provide free masks on all buses;
- Metro’s Customer Information Office will be open reduced hours Monday, March 21 to Friday, March 25, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., due to staffing challenges and required employee training;
- We recommend customers arrive at their bus stop a few minutes before the scheduled departure time of their trip;
- Remember, it's free and easy to sign up for email or text alerts about King County Metro service. Alerts can be tailored to your favorite route(s).

March 19 Service Change
Check out the March 2022 service change web page to help plan your future trips. The page also is available in Español (Spanish) and 中文 (Chinese).
March service change highlights:
- Routes with schedule changes: 5, 7, 12, 14, 20, 21, 48, 49, 50, 60, 106, 107, 124, 128, 269, 302, 303, 345, 346, 635 and South Lake Union Streetcar.
- Routes with added service as part of Seattle’s Frequent Transit Network, funded through the Seattle Transit Measure: 5, 12, 14, 20, 21, 60, 106, 124, 345 and 346.
- Routes with added or adjusted trips to support demand at public school bell times: 48, 50, 107, 128 and 269.
- Route 125 will resume Saturday service beginning March 19.
- The following routes remain fully suspended: 19, 37, 47, 116, 118X, 119X, 122, 123, 143, 154, 157, 178, 179, 197, 200, 219, 252 and 931.

Minor weekday service reductions on Metro starting March 21
Starting Monday, March 21, 2022, Metro will make minor reductions to weekday bus service. Metro still will provide 99% of our more than 11,000 scheduled weekday bus trips across more than 160 routes.
You can find the complete list of planned canceled trips on Metro's website. These canceled trips will not will not operate due to ongoing workforce challenges. Metro continues to hire, train, and promote transit operators to provide bus, rail and streetcar service across King County.

Metro celebrates Transit Appreciation Week
March 14-18 is Transit Appreciation Week, recognizing and celebrating everyone who contributes to the operation of one of the best transit systems in America: Metro! The week culminates with the celebration of Transit Operator Appreciation Day on Friday, March 18.

Recognizing Metro’s Operators of the Month (January-February 2022)
Every month, operators from King County Metro’s seven transit bases select their fellow drivers for their positive contributions to Metro and recognize them as Operators of the Month. The operators selected demonstrate safe driving skills, show courteous and helpful attitudes toward customers, and pay conscientious attention to attendance, appearance, and discipline.
