The West Seattle Water Taxis new winter schedule begins tomorrow, Saturday, October 16, 2021.

This year the West Seattle route of the King County Water Taxi will continue service Monday-Friday from 5:55 am to 7:05 pm, and on the weekends from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm. Please check our website for the full sailing schedule.

During the winter schedule there will not be any departures after 7:00 pm, including on Friday and Saturday. The connecting #773 and #775 shuttles at Seacrest Park will only operate during peak commute times Monday through Friday.

There has been an abundance of parking available on the street near the Water Taxi dock. The Water Taxi encourages bicycles aboard, and thanks to new modifications can accommodate "fat tire" and electric bicycles, full story here.

Typically during the winter, the West Seattle route does not operate midday or weekend service, however this year the Seattle Department of Transportation is funding additional Water Taxi Service to help mitigate traffic congestion while the West Seattle High-Rise Bridge continues to receive repairs. Read more about this on our Captain's Blog.

The Vashon Island route will remain on its regular schedule.

Masks are required for all passengers and crew, aboard the vessels and inside our Pier 50 facility in downtown.
