Early West Seattle Water Taxis for Orca Half Marathon
The West Seattle route of the King County Water Taxi will offer additional round trip sailings on Saturday, September 18 and Sunday, September 19 to accommodate participants of the Orca Half Marathon. In addition to the regularly scheduled West Seattle weekend schedule, the West Seattle Water Taxi will depart Pier 50 @ 7:30 a.m., and will depart Seacrest Park @ 8:00 a.m. Shuttles will meet the Water Taxi at Seacrest Park.
Please see the water taxi website for all scheduled departure times. The water taxi is on its summer sailing schedule, and the City of Seattle and King County have reached an agreement to continue mid-day service seven-days-a-week this fall and winter.
The water taxi continues to prevent the spread of COVID-19 through regular cleaning and disinfecting between sailings. Masks are currently required for both passengers and crew.
