Vaccination, combined with wearing masks, social distancing, washing hands frequently, and improving ventilation and filtration, are essential steps to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission and enhance general health and well-being.

To protect customers and workers, preserve hospital capacity and help prevent business closures, King County will require verification of full vaccination status or a negative test to enter outdoor public events of 500 or more people and indoor entertainment and recreational establishments and events such as live music, performing arts, gyms, restaurants, and bars.

King County is distributing complimentary PPE masks and sanitizing wipes to county restaurant workers regardless of whether they have attended previous events.
Who: King County encourages one representative per restaurant to pick up masks and sanitizing wipes for all restaurant employees. Please state the number of workers employed at your restaurant upon arrival. A county representative will allocate the appropriate number of masks and wipes.
What: Ten KN90 masks, ten cloth masks, and one sanitizing wipes packet will be distributed for each restaurant employee.
When: Tuesday, September 21st, 2021 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
