Transit Alert - Weekend Montlake Bridge Reroutes; Bus Shuttle service due to Link Track Maintenance; 'It's a great day to Ride Metro'; Be safe
King County, Washington sent this bulletin at 09/10/2021 06:52 PM PDTStarting tonight, Friday, September 10 at 11:00 PM, through Monday, September 13 at 5:00 AM, at all times, Metro routes 43, 48, 255 and 271, and Sound Transit Express Route 542, will be affected by the full closure of the Montlake Bridge during construction.
Metro will provide Bus Shuttle Service between Tukwila International Blvd and Rainier Beach Stations all day Sunday, while Sound Transit performs track maintenance work.
Possible service delays and disruptions can be expected due to street closures associated with events in and around the Seattle area. Visit Metro’s Service Advisories page for more information.
Even if your service is affected, “It’s a great day to ride Metro” to get to events and activities where there is often traffic congestion and limited parking.

Metro’s West Seattle Water Taxi
The West Seattle Water Taxi Operates seven days a week from Pier 50 downtown to Seacrest Park in West Seattle.
NOTE: There is no special service for after late-evening sporting events, and no change to the Vashon Water Taxi schedule.

VIA to Transit on-demand service
South Seattle now has more transportation options in the Rainier Beach, Skyway, Renton Highlands and Tukwila areas with Via to Transit on-demand service.
Trailhead Direct
King County Parks and King County Metro are operating Trailhead Direct service for the summer of 2021, featuring the Issaquah Alps and Mt Si routes, with a new Squak Mountain State Park trailhead stop added to the Issaquah Alps route. Service is scheduled to end at the end of the month.
