Vashon Water Taxi not in service Monday, May 31
The King County Water Taxis Vashon Island route will not be in service on Monday, May 31 in observation of Memorial Day. The Vashon route will return to full commuter service on Tuesday, June 1. For the water taxi's sailing schedule, please visit the water taxi homepage.
In order to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, physical distancing passenger limits remain in effect aboard the water taxi, limiting capacity on the Sally Fox and Doc Maynard to 153 passengers, and aboard the Spirit of Kingston to 57. Current ridership has been well below these thresholds.
The water taxi continues to prevent the spread of COVID-19 through regular cleaning and disinfecting between sailings. Masks are currently required for both passengers and crew.
