Transit Alert – Transit service heading toward the Bellevue Transit Center will be rerouted due to I-90 ramp closures nightly on 5/24-5/27

From Monday evening, May 24, through Friday morning, May 28, overnight only from 8:00 PM until 5:00 AM each night, Metro Route 241 and Sound Transit Express Route 550 will be affected in the south Bellevue area by I-90 ramp closures to northbound Bellevue Way SE, due to construction.

During this time, routes 241 and ST 550 heading toward the Bellevue Transit Center will not serve the stop at the South Bellevue Park-and-Ride at Bay 1.  Additionally, Route 241 will miss the stop westbound on I-90 just west of Richards Rd.

Route 241 to Eastgate Park-and-Ride and ST 550 to downtown Seattle will not be affected and all regular stops will be served.

Visit Metro’s Service Advisories page for information about revised bus service, routing and stops for planned construction or events.  When buses are rerouted, reroute start and end times may be subject to change.

Visit Metro’s online regional Puget Sound Trip Planner to plan your travel, and for bus stop, schedule and other information, including predicted times at stops.

Metro is operating with coach capacity guidelines that could result in longer waits for some riders.  Be sure to allow plenty of time for your trip.

Please observe and abide by posted information and directions for the safety of all transit riders and employees:
