Budget and Town Halls – make your voice heard

Friends,

This week kicks off a flurry of budget activity, and the first of two opportunities for District 8 residents in unincorporated King County to give direct feedback to your local government. Track the Council’s budget work by following our Budget Roundtables, provide formal public comment on the budget in any one of three opportunities that begin next Wednesday evening, and join the ever-important annual Local Services Town Halls for North Highline this Thursday and Vashon next Thursday (I’ll email the Vashon link early next week). I hope you’ll take multiple opportunities to make your voice heard in the coming weeks.
