Only three and half weeks left to turn in your signed Radio End User Service Level Agreement (SLA) to PSERN Project staff. All lead (parent) agencies responsible for radios have been contacted by the Project and have been asked to fill out an SLA. Thank you to all agencies who have turned in their SLAs. Please send in your SLA via email to PSERN-INFO@kingcounty.gov. Your agency will not receive project funded radios nor will your agency be able to use the PSERN system without a signed SLA. The due date for SLAs is February 28, 2020. If you have questions, our team is happy to help answer them. Call us at 206-47-PSERN.

As the Project moves closer to transition to the new system, Project staff have been working hard to determine a transition plan for end users and in-building systems. The “Wave Plan” includes five smaller groups / geographic regions for easier management of transitions:
-
Seattle Public Utilities & Sound Transit
-
City of Seattle
-
South King County (south of I90) – the largest transition
-
North King County (north of I90)
-
Remaining agencies
The plan incorporates feedback the Project has heard from stakeholders and is proposed to take approximately 10 months. The Joint Board is currently reviewing this plan and has approved hiring staffing resources to help the Project with communications efforts related to how the transition will impact in-building DAS systems. This role would serve as a daily resource to Fire Marshals and the person(s) is planned to be on board by this summer. Detailed work is underway.
