Transit Alert – Ride transit to the 11/12 Seattle Sounders FC Victory Rally & Parade; expect minor reroutes & some delays in the downtown and Seattle Center areas

On Tuesday, November 12, from approximately 11:00 AM, and until traffic and congestion clears in the area, Metro routes 7, 10, 11, 47, 49, 70, 101, 102, 150 and 255, and Sound Transit Express routes 545, 550 and 554 will be affected by minor reroutes in the downtown and Seattle Center areas during the Seattle Sounders FC Victory rally and parade.

The areas around downtown Seattle and the Seattle Center are likely to be crowded and congested on Tuesday, as fans celebrate the Seattle Sounders FC MLS Cup victory.

Even when service is affected by crowds, traffic, construction, temporary reroutes or delays, riding transit is still a great way to get to events and activities where there is often traffic congestion and limited parking.

Ride Metro routes 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 13, 24, 32, 33 or the RapidRide D Line to Seattle Center. Routes 5, 26, 28, 40 and 62, as well as RapidRide lines C and E, and the South Lake Union Streetcar, also travel to within walking distance of Seattle Center. Expect possible delays in the Seattle Center area.

Ride Metro with your ORCA card, or with a Transit GO ticket on your smart phone. Transit GO offers day passes at $4 for youths aged 6-18, and $8 for adults aged 19-64

Look for ‘Alert!’ icons in trip planning queries and check for temporary disruptions that may affect your route. Temporary service disruptions are not reflected in Trip Planner results. Check the online Service Advisories table for updates.

The posted start and end times of transit service disruptions related to sporting, community or construction events may be subject to change. Plan ahead, use regularly published schedules, allow plenty of travel time and expect possible delays.
