New Greenhouse Gas Emissions Report

King County's latest report on greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in King County is here!

This "geographic-plus inventory" (Emissions associated with all activities that occur inside the county, “plus” all electricity GHG emissions, even if the  electricity is generated outside King County) estimates GHG emissions produced by activities of the King County community, including emissions resulting from community energy use and transportation.

This report contains an updated greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions inventory for 2017, a contribution analysis of the drivers of emissions change, and a "wedge" analysis of what actions need to be taken through 2050 to achieve our emissions reduction goals.
