West Seattle Extended Service Today

King County, Washington sent this bulletin at 08/04/2019 10:00 AM PDT

King County Water Taxi has extended service today, Sunday, August 4.  The last departure from Pier 52 in downtown Seattle is 10:45 pm and the last departure from West Seattle is 11:00 pm.   

From Monday, August 5, through Sunday, August 11, King County Vashon and West Seattle Water Taxis and the Kitsap Fast Ferry will suspend operation while  they move to their new facility at Pier 50.  During this time, Water Taxi shuttle routes 773 and 775 will continue to operate  as usual in West Seattle, as will Ride2 West Seattle on-demand service.  While Water Taxi service is suspended, riders are encouraged to use one or  more of the following options: 

Buses 

  • Metro’s RapidRide C Line and routes 21, 37, 55, 56, 57, 120 & 125 connect  West Seattle to downtown Seattle. 
  • Route 116 connects the Fauntleroy Ferry Terminal to downtown Seattle  during weekday peak commuting hours. 
  • Routes 118 and 119 connect Vashon Island, the Vashon Ferry Terminal and  West Seattle to downtown Seattle.  
  • Route 128 connects the Admiral District, Morgan Junction, High Point,  Delridge, South Seattle College and White Center areas with the West Seattle  Junction. 
  • Water Taxi shuttle routes 773 & 775 will continue to operate their regular  routes and schedules during this time, connecting West Seattle riders to the  West Seattle Junction and Alki Beach via Harbor Avenue, Alki Avenue and  North Admiral. 

Link light rail 

  • Metro Route 50 connects West Seattle - including North Delridge, the Alaska  Junction, the Admiral District and Alki Beach to Link light rail at SODO  Station. 

Ride2 West Seattle 

  • Ride2 West Seattle provides on-demand service for people who live or work  in West Seattle. It provides rides to and from Metro buses at the Alaska  Junction.
