Starting Monday, July 15 at 7 p.m., pavement preservation work will take place at the following locations in the Union Hill area north of the City of Sammamish:
- 208th Avenue NE between the Redmond Fire Station (8791 208th Ave NE) and NE Novelty Hill Road
- NE Union Hill Road between 208th Avenue NE and 238th Avenue NE
- 236th Avenue NE between State Route 202 and NE 51st Street
The work requires nightly single lane closures from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. until Friday, August 2. Motorists will be flagged through the work zone. To view the map, visit the My Commute webpage.
Work is scheduled at night on high volume roads to reduce traffic impacts. However, travelers should expect delays while crews are paving. Resurfacing requires dry conditions and schedules can shift due to weather conditions. Residents in the area may experience additional noise as a result of this work.
