Westside Highway SW road closure, July 29 - September 9

King County, Washington sent this bulletin at 07/22/2019 11:00 AM PDT

On Monday, July 29, at 9 a.m., repair work will begin on a storm-damaged section of Westside Highway SW, from McIntyre Road SW to SW Cove Road, on Vashon Island. The work includes repairing the adjacent slope and improving drainage, and requires a full closure of this section of roadway. The road is expected to reopen on Monday, September 9 at 5 p.m.

A detour route will be posted on site along with signage to guide traffic around the construction area.
