Transit Alert Revision – Metro is using northbound SR 99 & the new Dearborn Street ramp; Rt 125 is revised to travel via Cherry St to 3rd Av

A revision from the previous Transit Alert is that Route 125 is revised Wednesday morning to operate via Cherry Street to Third Avenue until further notice.  It is not continuing north on 1st Av and is not serving the stop on 1st Av at Marion St.

Metro service that has been rerouted via surface streets in the SODO area for the past several weeks is now traveling via northbound SR 99 and using the new South Dearborn St ramp into downtown Seattle.

Metro routes 21 Express, 55, 56, 57, 113, 120, 121, 122, 123, 125 and the RapidRide C Line are using this new long-term routing.

The first stop for all affected routes, including Route 125, along this new routing is northbound on Third Avenue just south of Madison St.

The recent temporary stops on Prefontaine Place S and on 3rd Av at James St are no longer served by the SR 99 buses.  There are no other new or revised stops at this time.

Use the regularly published schedules in online and paper timetables.  Metro encourages riders to be at bus stops a few minutes before their bus is scheduled to depart.

For the scheduled and predicted departure times of transit service at stops, visit the Next Departures & Stops feature in Metro’s online regional trip planner, or text your stop ID to 62550.

Riders’ patience over the past several weeks and months during SR 99 revisions is appreciated.

Thank you for riding and for using Metro’s services.
