KC Beach Alert - Lake Burien Harmful Algal Bloom Warning
King County, Washington sent this bulletin at 10/22/2018 12:07 PM PDTA water sample collected on October 19th from Lake Burien had concentrations of the algal toxin microcystin that were above the State Department of Health Recommended Recreational Guidance thresholds. We recommend that people and pets do not swim in the lake, drink lake water, or engage in other water-contact activities.
