Transit Alert – Ride transit to the Seattle Pride Parade on June 24; expect minor reroutes and possible delays
King County, Washington sent this bulletin at 06/22/2018 12:17 PM PDTOn Sunday, June 24, from approximately 7:00 AM until about 8:30 PM, transit service in the downtown Seattle and West Queen Anne areas will be rerouted with possible delays during the Seattle Pride Parade.
During this event, Metro routes 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 24, 33, 40, 47, 49, 62 and 70; the RapidRide C and D lines, and Sound Transit routes 522, 545 and 554 will travel instead via alternate nearby streets, depending on the route, destination and direction of travel.
Use regularly published Sunday transit schedules to plan your trip, but expect delays and allow plenty of time due to expected traffic congestion.
While most buses that operate in the affected areas will have minor reroutes, riding transit is still the best way to get to this event, as some streets will be blocked, traffic will be congested and parking limited.
Visit Metro’s Service Advisories page for complete information about revised bus service, routing and stops for planned events. Transit reroute start and end times may be subject to change.
Visit Metro’s online regional Puget Sound Trip Planner to plan your travel, and for bus stop, schedule and other information, including predicted times at stops.
Thank you for riding and for using Metro’s services.
