Did you know that you should plan to be without food, water
and other supplies for 7 to 10 days during a major emergency? Recent windstorms are a good reminder that we should all prepare ourselves for an emergency. There are a variety of resources to help you
think about and plan for an emergency.

Getting to know your neighbors is part of being prepared for
an emergency, and a great way to build community. Take a moment to get to know
yours and think about ways to help others around you, if an event should ever happen!
