Baring Bridge reopens ahead of schedule Friday, October 13

Emergency repairs on the Baring Bridge will complete ahead of schedule. The full closure will end on Friday, October 13 at 5 p.m. Some final work may take place on October 16 and 17, but the bridge will be open. The repair work began on August 21 and has included replacing the bridge’s entire timber driving surface and most of the supporting structure below the deck. The timber bridge was built in 1930 and crosses the South Fork of the Skykomish River.
