King County Parks is delighted to celebrate the completion of the trailhead and parking lots, as well as the development of a new mountain bike trail network at Black Diamond Open Space.

Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance and volunteers contributed more than 2,000 hours of hard work to build and improve nearly eight miles of trails with the support of a $10,000 grant from REI.

This work was funded in part through King County Parks' Youth Sports Facilities Grants Program and the Community Partnerships and Grants Program, and the parking lots were made possible by the voter-approved 2014-2019 King County Parks, Trails and Open Space Replacement Levy. Thank you for your support!

Celebrate this great milestone, and join Evergreen and King County Parks for a guided casual ride around the new trails after the dedication ceremony.

Don't forget your bike!
