Kent Businesses Featured
Happy Friday, Kent!
Wanted to kick things off this week by plugging a recent article in The Seattle Times which featured two home grown small businesses here in Kent!
"Praise to the wizards at [these restaurants] for mastering the subtle art of the deep fryer, providing two terrific places to find fried chicken and fish."
While the article is focused on fried chicken and fish, both of which are delicious, Kent has so many unique and flavorful international foods from around the region.
It's something we're proud of and reflects the diversity of our community.
We've featured many of these small businesses in our #CuisinesOfKent series on social media, and I would highly encourage you to check out the Kent Food Trails put together by Visit Kent.
It's always great to see some local spots getting some love. With that, I hope you enjoy this week's update and have a great weekend!

Cruisin' Kent Car Show
The 4th Annual Cruisin’ Kent Car Show is coming up this Sunday!
I love this event because the community really shows up to check out some of the beautiful and unique cars driving around Kent and South King County.
It’s a really fun event with tons of cars and trucks to have a look at, as well as lunch options, live music from a DJ and raffles benefitting the Green River College VET fund.
