We are excited to announce that our Kent Cornucopia Days 5k is returning in 2021!
The race will take place July 10 from 9:00am - 12:00pm at Three Friends Fishing Hole.
Registration is NOW OPEN! Registration costs are $15, or $30 with a shirt. Deadline to register and receive a shirt is June 11 - don't miss out!

The race will kick off at Three Friends Fishing Hole; runners will be routed North around Briscoe Park. The out and back course is wide making it easy to pass.
Check out the Kent Cornucopia Days 5k webpage for more information and details about what race day will look like this year. Parking will be available at Columbia Distributing, directly next to Three Friends Fishing Hole.

Each STEAM Bag will include art projects, science activities, including a scavenger hunt and S'mores kit (all supplies included!), goodies, and more! Don’t wait to register, there is a limited supply of bags! Interested families must pre-register to receive a bag. |

We are continuing to slowly rollout the return of our programming opportunities.
Decisions about programs, services, and facility-use are guided by the Washington State and local Public Health COVID rules and guidelines in place at the time the program or service takes place. Staffing and available resources may also factor in to our ability to be flexible around mask requirements based on vaccinated or non-vaccinated participants. Masks are required for now. Please contact facility or program staff for specific guidance the week of your program or event.

Does your child want to learn how to play tennis? Our tennis day camp returns this summer! This exciting 4-day camp will teach kids age 8-17 the game of tennis in a fun environment. This class is for children age 6-12 with little or no gymnastics experience. Participants will learn the basics of FUN and SAFE gymnastics while we emphasize basic gymnastic skills, safety, strength, and flexibility. A few of the exciting things students will learn are handstands, cartwheels, walking on the balance beam, front support on the bars and more! |

YOUTH PARKOUR

This introduction to parkour class for kids age 6-12 will teach the fundamentals of parkour. Participants will be taught how to climb without using their knees or elbows, low-risk parkour maneuvers, and how to jump safely to lower and higher surfaces. CREATIVE ARTSPACE
Join Creative Artspace this summer as we use our imagination as inspiration for where to go on a vacation! Travel with us to the distant lands of China to experience their language, art, and architecture to spark our artistic endeavors. Experience some of the oldest and most famous World Heritage sites, such as the Great Wall and Forbidden City, all the way to the ultra-modern contributions of Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Beijing.

LEISURE STROLLS

ADULT 50+ PICKLEBALL Come to the Kent Commons to experience one of the fastest growing sports in the country - pickleball! This program focuses on recreational play and honing your skills in a non-competitive environment for players age 50 and older. Program runs Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00am - 12:00pm. |

4th & Willis Greenways Project
 The 4th and Willis Streets Roundabout project has entered the second phase, which will address the adjoining greenways along SR 516.
