80^thAvenue Road Closure 
Starting Monday August 24, 2026, 80th Avenue NE will be closed to through traffic (local access only) between NE 185th Street and NE Bothell Way (SR522), 24 hours a day / 7 days a week, for 1 month (subject to change).  Local access will be maintained within road closure. A detour route will be on place. Please plan for potential delays. Ultimately, this project will create a safer 80th Avenue NE corridor with slower traffic, safer crossings for children, and more comfortable walking and biking facilities. For more project specifics, visit kenmorewa.gov/80th

Sound Transit Stride S3 Update 
Construction for Stride S3 continues to progress in Kenmore. Crews are making progress on utility and roadway improvements that will support future rapid transit service along the SR 522 corridor. Recent work has focused on preparing key intersections and station areas for upcoming infrastructure upgrades designed to improve transit reliability, safety, and mobility for all users. Travelers should expect temporary overnight traffic changes, including lane closures, detours, and restricted turning movements. For more information on Stride S3 bus service, visit the Stride webpage. 

Business Workshop Series 
In partnership with the Bothell Kenmore Chamber of Commerce, the City of Kenmore is offering a Business Workshop Series this fall. We invite local businesses to sign up for the complimentary Business Workshop Series. This limited 6-session mini-series offers businesses an opportunity to learn, grow, and network. Summer Events Wrap Up
The summer event season is ending in Kenmore as we approach our last week of our event series. We hope you have had a chance to enjoy our free community events in Kenmore. Wednesday, August 26 is the last day of the Kenmore Farmers Market and Thursday, August 27 is the last summer concert featuring Americana Blue Rock music. We’ll have more events this fall and winter.
