Play Day
Join us on Saturday, August 15 for our annual Play Day event full of games, activities, and fun! The event is held at Rhododendron Park and offers free recreational based activities for all ages. This year welcomes Hank Heron, a musical performance, Inglemoor High School football and cheer programs, inflatables, and more! Backpacks for Kids Supply Drive
Looking to give back to support school kids this year? Kenmore City Hall is a donation site for the Northshore Schools Foundation’s Backpack for Kids Supply Drive. Each year, the Foundation helps nearly 800 students start the school year with supplies to be ready in the classroom. Donations are accepted online and in person at Kenmore City Hall and the Hangar through August 31. To learn more and donate online, visit Backpacks for Kids.

Metro Community Van
Kenmore City Hall is a base location for the Metro Community Van program. The Community Van program is a rideshare program by King County Metro that makes it easier for getting around your neighborhood. The program is driven by volunteers, and anyone can schedule a one-time ride or recurring trips anywhere within 80 miles. Use Community Van to run errands, get to appointments, or attend activities and outings! August Community Love Notes
Community Love Notes are simple acts or gestures that engage, delight, and create a collective sense of place. The City of Kenmore encourages and supports community events that are free and open to the public and calls them “love notes to our community”. August Love Notes include a Streamfest event at Log Boom Park, and a Curbside Classic Fingerboard Jam event at the Hangar.
